ALBANY -- A state Democratic committee on Monday suggested that GOP judicial candidates have sold out to U.S. Sen. Alfonse M. D'Amato, but Republicans said the Democrats are only trying to obscure the real issues in the campaign.

Financial disclosure forms filed last week revealed that a D'Amato-run fund raising committee in Washington is contributing heavily to the campaigns of three Republican judicial candidates in a district that includes most of the Capital Region.
